Arooj Arif from University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) participated in a global competition for young professionals and students within engineering to develop and showcase their presentation skills named as “Present Around The World (PATW)” organized by The Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) Islamabad Local Network (LN). She won the Phase-III by competing others in Phase-I named intra-varsity competition and Phase-II named inter-varsity competition. She qualified for the final Regional Phase and will be representing her motherland Pakistan and esteemed institution UET Lahore in Kazakhstan. Arooj will be competing against representatives from all around the world in the Region Phase. In this meeting with Arooj Arif, Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid said, “University equally stress on enhancing academic as well as interpersonal skills. For this purpose we organize different curricular and co-curricular activities”. He also appreciated the struggles of Chairman Electrical Engineering department Prof. Dr. Tahir Izhar and administration for this success.
