The Control Systems Lab is dedicated to practical learning and experimentation in industrial automation, process control, and modern control systems. The laboratory enables students to develop hands-on understanding of control techniques, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, and industrial control applications.
The lab is equipped with Siemens PLC systems, computer workstations, and MATLAB-based simulation tools that support modeling, analysis, and implementation of control algorithms and automation systems. Students gain practical experience in controller programming, industrial process automation, system monitoring, and simulation-based control design.
The laboratory supports coursework, laboratory experiments, and project work related to:
- Industrial automation
- PLC programming
- Process control systems
- Control system modeling and simulation
- Industrial instrumentation
With dedicated computing resources and automation equipment, the Control Systems Lab serves as an important facility for developing practical skills in industrial control and automation engineering.
